California State Certified Electrician

Are you a California State Certified Electrician with a passion for customer service?

Successful candidates with possess the following traits:
  • They are a self-starting, customer-service driven California State Certified Electrician with a proven background of following established procedures as well as engaging in complex problem-solving to provide solutions to electrical issues in the shop and in the field
  • They have a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application
  • They can communicate effectively with customers of varying levels of technical expertise to clearly explain issues and solutions in a professional and courteous manner
  • They can communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels within the company as well as with equipment manufacturers and other vendors
  • They have the ability and desire to mentor other service technicians by sharing their knowledge and experience
  • They are organized and focused, managing their time well and not letting anything fall through the cracks
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must be California State Certified Electrician
  • A minimum of three years of experience installing common electrical components for temporary and permanent applications
  • Ability to setup and maintain an organized file system for production drawings as well as maintain our current UL 508A Industrial Control Panel program
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting engineered drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Experience with electronic control systems and the ability to integrate with electronic components
  • PLC programming and SCADA experience a plus
  • Correctly and safely use hand and power tools common to the industry
  • Able to provide on-site representation for the company on required bid invitation walks, site surveys or customer meetings
  • Must be able to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes accordance to OSHA regulations
  • May be required to travel into the field; may encounter construction sites, and water/ waste water treatment facilities.

Full time, 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Control Panel Builder

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Control Panel Builder in Visalia, California to assemble and wire electrical panels and equipment. Extensive experience is not a must, but an asset (3-5 years desired). We are looking for someone with a good work ethic and desire to learn! New grads are encouraged and welcomed to apply.

Job Requirements:
  • Follow both detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to utilize and interpret wiring diagrams and recognize components
  • Perform operational testing to written procedures and specifications
  • Complete and maintain written project documentation
  • Posses a mechanical aptitude, be able to do light fabrication, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Be proficient with the use of hand tools
  • PLC and UL experience a plus
  • Post-secondary schooling in an Electrician Technician program or similar program is an asset
  • Must perform clean and precise work with attention to detail
